When stocking up on children's clothing, shoes or accessories, it pays to get as many discounts as possible. Coupons and sales are a great way to save money at a certain time, but discount gift cards are a great way to keep a little extra money in your bank account. They can be used year round and they never expire! To find out more about The Children's Place gift cards, keep reading. We've answered several of the most popular questions below.
What forms of gift cards are available from the Children's Place?
The Children's Place offers gift certificates in two forms: plastic gift cards and virtual e-gift cards. They can both be used at retail locations across the USA and Puerto Rico and online at www.childrensplace.com. E-gift cards are perfect for last minute gifts to friends or family that live far away.
Can I refill The Children's Place e-gift cards?
Unfortunately, at this time you cannot refill virtual gift cards. Once the balance has been used, the number associated with the certificate is rendered null.
Where can I check the balance of my gift card?
You can give The Children's Place a call at 1-800-501-3232 or you can visit them online to find the balance. To check the balance online, enter your gift card number, then PIN and click the "Check Gift Card Balance" button.
Where is the PIN for my gift card?
The PIN for your gift card will be on the back of your plastic gift card on the bottom right of the card. If you have a virtual gift certificate, then the PIN will be included in the email you received. If your card doesn't have a PIN, don't fret, the online payment processor can still accept your card.
What if someone steals my gift card? Will The Children's Place replace it?
They will certainly do everything they can to help you with your lost or stolen gift card. Before you call to get a replacement card, make sure you have the original purchase receipt. If you have it, then call 1-877-PLACEUSA and a representative will help you get a replacement card issued ASAP. If you don't have the receipt, then, unfortunately, The Children's Place cannot help to replace your card.
What happens if someone makes a copy of my printed e-gift card receipt?
Safeguard the printed copy of your e-gift card because that unique card number can only be redeemed once. If someone makes a copy of your receipt and uses the balance before you, then the balance will be gone. Since the e-gift cards are tied to a number and not necessarily a plastic card, when that number is used, it is considered redeemed.
The Children's Place is a specialty retailer that was founded in the same year as the moon landing, 1969. They’re headquartered in Secaucus, New Jersey, and offer a large line of children’s apparel and accessories in many of their locations nationwide. They are mostly located within shopping malls around the United States, but they also have some outlets in regular stores and strip centers. They have expanded since inception to just over 870 stores. They also owned and operated some Disney Stores from the years of 2004 through 2007, until Disney attempted to regain the rights to their stores. Currently, they are run by the ex Lord & Taylor CEO Jane Elfers, who has not undergone any large changes since her appointment in 2009.
