Forget the Walker, Let's Play Soccer

This past weekend, several members of the Gift Card Granny staff traded their bifocals and support hose for shin guards and cleats, participating in the Kick It 3v3 Soccer Tour.

The team, pieced together with players of all different skill levels, suffered a tough defeat in their opening game. However, as most know, you can't keep a good granny down. Despite the first loss, they rallied together and secured the points necessary to advance to the final round.

Backed by their legions of supporters, the surprise contenders fought valiantly in the closing match-up. Unfortunately, they fell by a narrow margin to a group of talented young whippersnappers.

While the Gift Card Granny team would've preferred to leave victorious, much was learned to prepare for next year's title run. In the meantime, they've returned to the office a little sunburned and sore, ready to keep the great discount gift card deals going strong.
