Where is my gift card? I have not received it yet.

• Plastic gift cards are mailed in two business days and delivered within the shipping time selected during checkout. Typically, you can expect to receive your physical gift card within 4 days not pending any mail delays.

• If you have not gotten your gift card and it was plastic, please allow for the 2 days to ship and then the estimated amount of time for your selected shipping method. If your gift card has still not arrived in the mail by that date, please submit a ticket below so that we may assist further.

Does my VISA or Mastercard gift card expire?

No. The card may be used through the expiration shown on the front of the card. After the expiration a new card may be requested by paying a reissuance convenience fee.

Are there usage or monthly fees with a VISA or Mastercard gift card?

• There are no activation or inactivity fees.

How much does a prepaid VISA or Mastercard gift card cost?

What are the guidelines for personalized custom VISA and Mastercard gift cards?

• All submitted card designs and images are subject to review for regulatory compliance.

• For best results, images must be 640 x 480 pixels in a .PNG, .GIF, or .JPG file format.

• Designs or images containing any of the following will not be approved:

        o Intellectual property such as logos, brands, trademarks, company names, or other copyrighted material.

Where or how can I use my VISA or Mastercard gift card?

Restaurants and other Service Merchants – Retailers who commonly accept tips may automatically run an authorization transaction of 20 percent more than the total bill to ensure the gift card has enough funds to cover a gratuity. You may ask the retailer to either charge only the bill amount or reduce the bill amount by 20 percent and retry the transaction.

Gas Stations – Gasoline purchase transactions made at the gas pump often pre-authorize a charge for up to $100 when the card is inserted. Avoid purchase decline and having excess funds on hold by paying the cashier in advance. Request the cashier charge only the exact amount you specify and to process the charge as a “credit” transaction. It may take several business days for the hold to be released and for your funds to be available for spending once an authorization is attempted directly at the gasoline pump.

Hotels – Hotels often place a funds hold for the estimated amount of the stay, plus approximately 25%. To avoid excess funds hold on your gift card, use a credit card when checking into the hotel instead. At checkout you may easily use your gift card to pay the bill.

Rentals (auto, truck, etc.) – Most rental companies require a credit card to make a reservation. Reserve your rental with a credit card and pay the actual bill with your gift card.

Online & Telephone Purchases – Simply enter your or provide your card account number, PIN, and expiration date to use your gift card for online or telephone orders. Please note that some stores may not accept orders paid via VISA or Mastercard gift cards via telephone.

Can I withdraw cash from my VISA or Mastercard gift card?

No. Gift cards may only be used to make purchases.

Is the prepaid VISA or Mastercard gift card a Credit or Debit card?

The gift card may be used for either a Credit of Debit transaction. For plastic cards, you will need your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to complete a Debit transaction.

Why was an attempted purchase with my prepaid VISA or Mastercard gift card declined?

• For Credit transactions, if the purchase value is greater than the available funds on your VISA or Mastercard Gift Card, the transaction may be declined. To make a purchase larger than the available balance of the card, make the purchase in two transactions. Advise the cashier in advance the exact amount to deduct from the card. Then pay the balance of the purchase with a second form of payment. Not all retailers are able to process sales in two transactions.

• For Debit transactions you may use your gift card for Debit transactions using your Personal Identification Number (PIN) at the point of sale. To set or change a PIN, access your gift card details via our Check Balance page.

Where can I make purchases with my prepaid VISA, Mastercard gift card?

• Physical gift cards may be used in-store, online, and by telephone where VISA or Mastercard is accepted in the USA and its territories. See international use for further details.

• Digital prepaid cards may only be used online and by telephone (or at merchants where a card-not-present transaction may be completed).

Can I use my Prepaid VISA or Mastercard gift card outside of the USA?

No. Gift cards may only be used for purchases in the USA.

What if I cancel or return a purchase made using my gift card?

• Store return policies vary by merchant. At the merchant’s discretion you may receive a credit to your gift card, a store credit, cash refund, etc.

• Like any payment card, allow 2-5 business days for credit to appear.

What happens if my gift card is lost or stolen?

How do I know what purchases are eligible for reward cash back?

Creating an alert enables you to be notified via email about a specific gift card brand.  For example, if there are no Amazon gift cards on Granny, you can create an alert to email you whenever new inventory is available.  You can also configure the alerts based on specific discounts you are looking for.

To set an alert, you must first be logged in to your account.  Once logged in you can go to the My Alerts section to create a new alert or you can click the Set Alert button whenever you are on any brand page.

How can I disable or edit alert emails?

To edit or delete an alert, log in to your account and go to the View My Alerts section.  From there you can Edit or Remove an alert for any brand that you had previously configured.
