What is the maximum amount I can put on an ULTA gift card?
The maximum denomination for ULTA gift cards is $500. You can purchase a gift card from an ULTA store near you, on the store website, or—if you want the best deal—right here on Gift Card Granny.
Will purchases made with a gift card count toward my ULTA rewards?
You cannot earn rewards points when using an ULTA gift card, and you cannot use rewards points to buy a gift card.
Can I return a gift card?
ULTA gift cards cannot be returned after purchase. Additionally, if you buy an electronic gift card and enter in the wrong email address for the recipient, there is no way to refund your order.
Where is my ULTA gift card valid?
You can use your gift card online or at any ULTA store. To use it on the ULTA website, enter in the gift card number during checkout. You’ll also need the PIN number. If you’re using an e-gift card instore, make sure you print the original email containing the gift card.
Do I need to activate my gift card?
Nope! Gift cards become active once they are purchased, so there’s no need to activate them afterward. If you have trouble using your gift card, you can contact ULTA Gift Card Customer Support by phone or email.

In-Store Redemption Instructions
To redeem an Ulta Beauty eGift Card in-store, you must present the original eGift Card email printed with the eGift Card number and PIN number and present it at time of purchase.
Online Redemption Instructions
To redeem an Ulta Beauty eGift Card on Ulta.com, enter the eGift Card number and PIN number at the Payment step during the Checkout process. Only one eGift Card can be redeemed per online order. Only one eGift Card can be redeemed per online order.
In-Store Mobile Redemption Instructions
Recipient:
To redeem your eGift Card from a mobile device display the barcode, gift card number and associated PIN (if applicable) to the cashier at the time of purchase.
Cashier:
Scan the barcode off of the mobile device and/or hand key the gift card number and associated PIN (if applicable) into the POS.
